Thanked: 270I definitely think that would be a bad idea.
The first time I put my natural stones away the cardboard boxes became saturated.
The next time I let them sit in enclosures like dish racks for a week to make sure they are dry. The cardboard boxes didn't get wet. dish racks - Walmart.com
If you have a Norton 4k/8k combo the two stones glued together may come apart as well if you microwave.

I usually leave mine in an open tub to dry up on top of the kitchen cabinets so they are outta sight outta mind.
But this got me thinking, what if you had a box or bucket filled with rice? Would letting them sit in the rice pull the moisture out quicker?
PS, microwave does sound dangerous

Well maybe not behind him, maybe not even in the same room but you know what I mean. Please document everything for us please:-)
