    I know making slurry isn't rocket science but I've always been a believer in following instructions when I've gotten them, such as this that came with a Norton barber hone ........

    Been rubbing the slurry stone on the edge like that for a few years or more and it works well for me. YMMV.

    sometimes my finger pecking like a chicken moves faster then my thought process and the result iiissssss ... you'll have that !!! ..lol..
    id correct it but then id have to start using proper punctuation and capitol letters , what fun would that be , and then id take away from some of your fun !!

    i tried that the other day , it didnt feel right ...lol.. i cut my slurry stones down so it would feel even more strange now .., was VERY effective method though !! thanks for the post cause honestly ive never saw or heard anyone do it like that and when i did it it was because the stone started to flip over .. i was like wow , that is a lot easier !!
