Default What’s your favourite stone combo?

Apologies if this has been asked before but there are new SRP members signing up almost daily that might give different answers.
What’s your favourite stone combo from start to finish? I’m curious to know if members are all using similar stones or are there any rouge honers that are using less used/rare stones.
    Grit, brand, vintage?

    Thanks.

For my bevel setter I either use a soft ark from dans or an EZ-E lap diamond stone. Don't know the grit on it but its about 1k. Then I usually use a coti with slurry and dilute or I use a dragons tongue and do the same. I prefer the coti though. Then I go to a C12k and then a Trans black arkansas for final touches.

I really strive for simple. I picked my side, enjoy the glide. Interested in what others use.

Here is my most used progression:
A 1K Naniwa Chosera followed by a 5 and a 10K in the same make.
From there I will use a Suehiro Gokumyo 15 or 20K to finish things off.
    Quick, repeatable and consistent.

If I am in a natural stone mode, then a Japanese natural with a progression of Naguras is my most used option.

All that said, having suffered HAD for a long time, everything above will change whenever I wanna go say the coticule way, do some Shapton honing or whatever.
So many ways to reach the same goal

I'd say, by what I have read on all the posts, I'm going the classic style. King 1K, Norton 4K/8K combo and when I've achieved the ultimate 8k shave I'll add a Naniwa 12k and maybe a Suherio(sp?) 20k for refinement.

Naniwa Chosera 1k bevel setter, either Chosera 3-5-10k or Norton 4-8k followed by either an escher or suehiro 20k.
