Found a shapton 8000 professional stone for 60$ on the bay. Sold my naniwa 8k (I had thin version/wanted thicker 8k) so saw this as good chance to try out shapton stone. Took my dubl duck (had jnat edge) to 5k naniwa/ 8k shapton / then went to 12k naniwa. Might replace my 5k naniwa with shapton, but keeping chosera 1k and naniwa 12k. 8k shapton very nice to use, glad I grabbed it.

Got a shapton 8k to try out and was very happy with the results. After I shaved with the Goldedge I went ahead and gave it a natural edge again, this time going with coticule finish.
