This is the Wostenholm from the Workshop thread.
I did the following progression:
Chosera 1k
Chosera 3k
Naniwa 5k
Naniwa 8k
Naniwa 12k
Suehiro 20k
It shaved well! This one required a fairly significant rolling x stroke, not sure if that was due to the curved spine. Either way, I felt like I needed to be somewhat precise with my strokes so it was good practice.
I think I like the stone lineup: the efficient Choseras followed by the softer Naniwas.
That is just about as optimal a synthetic progression as you can get, Sonny. At one time I had my whole stable finished on the SG 20k (and then I fell down the naturals rabbit-hole). Oh, and I like that kamado grill in the background; it's pretty similar to what I smoke on.
Rez did a few razors for me finished on an Escher and one in particular (Reynolds humpback) is currently my favorite shaver.
As for the Kamado Joe, I get a lot of use from it. I have some ribs ready for tomorrow. We're currently dodging tornadoes in central Illinois so hopefully that is still on (seems to have mostly passed). FYI, I cheat with a BBQ Guru. I don't worry about temperature at all.

7/8 Filarmonica.
This one was pulling and tugging the last time I shaved with it.
I've had it about six months or so. When I picked it up from Ebay it really did come shave ready but it was time to take it to the stones again.
This one honed up quickly, and slices right through whiskers. You know it was an easy time honing when taping it up was the trickiest part. ;)
Just a few knives. from my buddies kitchen.
They were all screwed up from a electric bench sharpener.
220 ,600, 800, Naniwa. Finished on a Washita.
Touched up the serrated blade with a ceramic rod.

My recently, happily refound riga tungsten, and my first and only ivory clad Mappin compliments of a Texas Tom kissed the stones today.
Norton 4/8k, followed by a coti, than a thuri and a .25 diamond impregnated leather board strop finished the session today.
