    Three from the bench today.

    1. Plum, in Ivory.

    2. Wostenholm, French point.

    3. A NOS, Friedrich Herder.

Bevels set on the green brick, progressed on a Washita with oil, from heavy slurry to water on the Coti, then water on the BBW, and finished with water on the BG Escher.

This seems like a complicated progression. At first glance I think that you could delete the Washita and the BBW

This is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.
    Oh, and nice marmot!

Its just a means to an end, Tim. A progression of my choosing. Typically I'd use a Thurigan, over the Coti.

After the Chosera, the Washita really dials in the bevel, creeps up on it slowly. The rest are just polishing.

I'll say this, the BBW is a under rated hone. IMO better than the Coti, side. Just like Coties, all BBW's aren't the same, either. But I enjoy honing, and the feel of a natural edge.

As a guy, who after 4 years is still happy when he finally gets a shaveable edge (most of the time) off his Naniwas, this whole thread fascinates me. Luckily for my wallet and marriage, I am being forced mostly toward DE, thus away from the likelihood of HAD.
