Thread: Honing At Its Worst

Wiping lather off the razor with your finger is new to me. I'm bummed I can't leave comments on his videos.

Luckily, the blade isn't sharp enough to cut his fingers during that soap wipe step he does..
I feel bad for PJ.. it is a neat idea, 'guy stuff' and all, but man he's such an unschooled gent. Paving the road to razor hell with all good intent.
I too posted a comment for him, and others as fair warning..
As a whole I was gratified to see how well spoken most of the negative comments were on his comment section.
Reflected well on us straight faced gents as a whole.

Even a bad video can serve as a good lesson, when taken in context.

Funny really: after he has shaved his neck he has a sticky plaster on his nose that wasn't there when he started. Shaving your neck and nicking your nose..

Oh my! You could just hear the rediculous amount of pressure he was using to and in part of his beginning failed attempt to hone you could even see the scrapings of his stone on the blade on the first stroke. Not to mention his lifting the spine up off the strop. Explains why he has a full beard.
