The last couple of weeks I've been busy honing a few new acquisitions.
Compared to the original poster, I guess IT really is Just getting warmed up
    Here's what and how:
    3 Filarmonica #14 EPBD NOS
1 Filarmonica #13 Medallon Taurino NOS
2 Juan vollmer #14 Palmera Extra NOS
    2 #14 Ducal NOS
These razors all received a 2-5-8-12K Naniwa superstone treatment, followed by a yellow/green Escher barber hone.

3 customs, already sharpened, I kinda got to my preferred state by giving them about 30 passes on the 12K Naniwa followed by 15 or so passes on the Escher.
After that they all received 15 passes on felt with cr-ox, 10 passes on felt with ,25 micron Diamond spray.
Then they all got a good stropping on fabric, velvet hide and leather form my Kanayama 90000.
    Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Today I was over at JoeD, CarrieM, and JrJoeD's place. I borrowed their Chosera 1k and 5k and 8k Naniwas SS's and honed alongside them. They were much more productive than I. I honed

Savage quarter hollow AKA Black Beauty
    Cmon HF Rescue Project
FRFR Faux Frameback - I sort of helped as Joe made me these scales for a different blade, which I dropped and broke, but the scales survived. I watched as JoeD dropped this Reynolds in, and figured I'd better finally get her honed up.

We had a honing party today w/ Holli. Yesterday we cleaned up som local finds and today we honed them. Hones used were Chosera 1k, 5k and 8k Naniwas SS's, Norton 1k, 4k, 8k a couple of coticules and a couple of Eschers.

We re-honed the EL &Co wedge after buffing out all of the pitting, a Wade and Butcher wedge that had pitting removed from it's back side, a 13/16's Dubl Duck Stainedge, a pair of Harrison Bros & Howson, a Genco Army/Navy, a Red Point 917 from Utica Knife Co and a Tonserial Gem from F.A.Clauberg. Shaved with the Satinedge and it bit me three times! Bad duck!!

    Default Hammond and Hoffitz

The Hammond was a straight forward 1/2 hollow hone after a re-scale,, The Hoffitz was a Heirloom that had been chipped early in it's shaving career, The razor was in perfect condition besides the chip ...

The chip came out on a DMT 325 then both went on the Norton 1k for bevels...

I have been trying out the Henckels 1-3-8 (TY Jeffus) set lately, nice compact set of stones that are basically different color Naniwa SS's...
Then on to my CH12k for a finisher...

These went 15 on CeOx then linen and leather and onto a smooth shave this morning...

I finally got a Herder near wedge honed to where it will shave.. pops arm hair all day long but seems to tug when I shave so giving it a few goes for possible technique issues before I take it back to the hones.

started with 300 DMT, 1K King, 6K King, 12K Chinese

(at work so no pics currently)
