    That "A" inside the diamond is the maker's mark I think. I suspect it may be a contract mark. Like I posted earlier, the cleaver is pretty much a dead ringer for some of the older Foster Brothers cleavers. Got some posts on some knife boards and so far nobody has made any suggestions.



    I think it'll stay as is. May tune the edge up a bit, but it doesn't need much.

    Blackadder was (and still is) A CLASSIC!

    I was wondering if you were going to tire of my hat guy. LOL nose around and find something you like and grab it if you want. I've always got an eye out for more crazy stuff.

    If your talking to me it is in the same shape today. I have no need for a chopper right now as I live with one of the best cooks I know of , ( Mom) :<0) I had to hide it so it doesn't find it's way into a certain drawer that seems to suck blades out of nowhere. I promised to make another for her but this one is safer in the condition it's in right now.
