Haven't seen any Bresnick knives that I know of. Don't usually pay much attention to kitchen stuff unless it looks old and wicked. LOL

That "A" inside the diamond is the maker's mark I think. I suspect it may be a contract mark. Like I posted earlier, the cleaver is pretty much a dead ringer for some of the older Foster Brothers cleavers. Got some posts on some knife boards and so far nobody has made any suggestions.

I think it'll stay as is. May tune the edge up a bit, but it doesn't need much.
