Thanked: 79I used to own an Emerson Commander, got one of the first ones. Technically, I still own it....it was stolen (disappeared from my gear when I went on emergency leave several years ago) I really miss that knife.
More often than not, these days I have a multitool (Leatherman wave/Buck Whitaker/SOG switchplier/CRKT Zillatool etc...) and or a folder, pretty much whatever I grab, most recently a Benchmade autostryker (I think that's what it's called) which was issued to me. Switchblades are neat, I guess, but honestly, I like the wave feature on the Emerson better. I've noticed he's licensed the feature to Spyderco for some of their models, as well...might be what it takes to get me to try one out.
