Now, that is a great response. Thank you. I travel a lot for my business, appraising hospitals, surgery centers, etc., and I now travel with Harry's. I usually only have a carry-on so I assume a straight will not pass inspection through TSA. But once I return to my home office, I really enjoy the shower, the prep time and the actual shave. Fortunately, I have the extra time to learn the "new" skill. Thanks again for the response. I look forward to January 14th.

I am glad your mom is still in the Mile High city and in the off chance you will celebrate earlier or later I will block off every Sunday in July... but I think it will be the 16th as the 17th is a Monday.

I hope to know a few tricks by then as I learned there are a few folks here in the Springs that straight razor shave. They happen to work n the same building I work in...bonus

If we had a gathering in Colorado Springs, and if it was on my day off, I'd love to meet some folks that enjoy straights. I just wont go to Denver on my day off sense I do that every day I work. Hope to meet some of you folks some day.

Maybe we can have another meeting, this time in the Springs. How about April May time frame. I live in Denver, but have no
problem traveling to the Springs for a meeting.

I know DryFly is in the springs. He has been to many Denver meets. There is also a member in Pueblo who would likely come. I may be able to make it also.

I could probably make a meeting on a weekend in The Springs in April or May.

My wife had no idea what to get me for Christmas. So we ordered a Hart Steel, American made, 6/8 Satin Finish Round Point Straight Razor. I have not tried it since I will open it an Christmas morning but it looks good. I am fairly new at this and do not want to get ahead of myself, but I have used the Parker Shavette and the Dovo 5/8s enough to know I am all in with straight razor shaving.
