Haha. I like that. One of my Navy buddies told me as long as I am 6 feet tall, if the boat sinks I can always walk ashore.

Hello Craig, welcome aboard this cruise ship heading to the Relaxation, Welness and Pleasure islands.
If not discovered yet, you will soon find out that the community is very large, extends all over the world and is subject to fall consciously in a lot of rabbit holes.

I try to check some of the forum topics each night after work. It is amazing to me to see all of the places the members are from, and the range of topics (or rabbit holes), all of which bring us together. Thanks for the welcome Johan.

Welcome Craig. Glad to have you aboard. My dad was a navy man ( Normandy vet ) He would have loved that.
You've got a good start there. Some nice razors to work with. I assume you have a good strop also? That is a very important skill to learn for maintaining your edges. Read lots of instruction posts and watch videos in areas that you're weak on. Lots of knowledgeable people here can help if you have questions also.
