The DOVO Best Quality would make an excellent starter razor. You can get them shave ready from Steve Dempsters site here.

Steve is a member here, blueprinciple, and I've had a few razors from him that you could cleave atoms with..!

You'll also need a strop to go with your razor. Neil Miller makes artisan strops here in the UK and you can get them via his site. Have a look in the Vendors Corner forum as well, for other strop sellers.
