Hiya! New chick here!
Hey everyone,
I just bought my hubby his first straight razor as a surprise for Father's Day. He's always wanted one, and of course I didn't know squat about them so after talking a lot to the seller, and much youtube-ing I bought him a 4/8 Robeson's ShurEdge. Although, after finding all the fun stuff I started getting jealous. lol I really really really hate shaving so the yummy warm lather and everything really caught my eye, and my seller pointed out there was a women's forum here. So I'm majorly excited. I was ever cruising the forums here before and just never noticed the women's forum. lol
So here I am! I don't know much, all I know is I hate shaving and it really appeals to my hippy/green side!
Thanks
MGrimm
And because I love this, and it is about how much me and my razor get along. ----->

@alb1981 Thanks so much! I love seeing how fast the forums move here. Slow forums kill. I'll definitely be in the ladies sections a lot too!
@nycexit2 Hehe I can definitely see why someone wouldn't buy them too often, they definitely get spendy. I got his for a pretty good deal I think... it's even shave ready and included a hanging strop, vintage Avon mug, matching aftershave and a little badge hair brush.

I hope so! He's actually working in the ND oil fields so he won't be here for father's day Can't wait to save enough for a home and move up there!
Question... is there a forum or such that explain abbreviations? Like DE and such?Last edited by MothyrGrimm; 06-08-2012 at 07:38 PM.

Thanked: 21If there is, I wouldn't mind knowing about it either. Mostly I've picked them up from context.
