Hello MothyrGrim:
Welcome to Straight Razor Place. Indeed, we have a number of ladies here on the forum and I am sure they will report as soon as possible. We're all here to help you and your husband enjoy traditional shaving.
Stay well.

Thanked: 1587Welcome to SRP!
I am sure your husband will appreciate the gift - a very thoughtful one I think. In fact, a similar-sized razor may suit you as well. Although I would not recommend sharing the same razor - there are associated cooties issues.
I hope you enjoy our community.
James.

I think he's on to me! Haha! Just talked to him on the phone and he made a big point to talk about how he went and bought replacement cartridges for his regular razor. Which granted, he's never done... ever. Although it seemed suspicious because just a few minutes before he was trying to get me to tell him what I got him.
All I said was, "Huh, that sucks" and then started talking about the diapers I got in the mail. lol

Thanked: 334Greetings, MothyrGrimm, and welcome to SRP! I must say that your avatar is quite eye-catching! Your husband is indeed fortunate to receive such a thoughtful gift. SRP strives to help its members in all thing shave-related in a timely fashion. When I joined last month, I was pleasantly surprised at just how quickly senior members chimed in with greetings and responses.
I own a Robeson ShurEdge recently honed by SRP founder Mr. Lynn Abrams (ALL HAIL LYNN! ALL HAIL LYNN!) and I'm quite certain that your husband will love the action it gives. See you in the trenches!

I guess I'm a little late, but welcome to SRP!

Not late at all. Never too late to feel welcome!
...and thanks mapleleafalumnus! I wasn't sure if some would find the avatar offensive, but I thought it was silly. Plus I don't mind changing it if need be. It's really awesome to hear you have a similar straight blade as well, I was super nervous because I bought it without really knowing much, although the seller was great and even refereed me here. So I didn't think he was that bad of a guy. I don't mind paying a little extra either as long as hubbs likes it... although if he doesn't I'm going to kick him... and then take it for myself. lol
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!!
