Once again, the men need to whip it out and show what they got!

Hey just wondering how did the fathers day gift go?

Sorry I didn't let everyone know sooner... stupid internet has been on the fritz.

He got it the Wednesday after fathers day, even though the DC said it was there on Monday... I believe the DC because apparently there was another man there mad as ever because his package had been there for a few days too. Not to mention when he sent me some stuff it got here in 2 days versus his "5 days". We were both pretty annoyed with it too... but whatev. He was supposed to wait till he got back to their trailer so I could be on the phone with him, but after dying (and nagging) to know what it was for 2 weeks he opened it on the way back.

He really loves everything and was super excited even though he had a suspicion that's what it was... in hindsight my dropping "little hints" was more like the bombing of Pearl Harbor, but that's okay. lol He shaved with it the next day, and got to about half of his chin before he switched back to a cartridge to finish up. The sound of the straights cutting is vicious. Love. It. I'm really excited for him to get more into everything since he just knows kind of an overview right now. He's working 14 hour days so he hasn't had much time to really delve into everything sadly. Although he definitely wants to start a collection! So I think fathers day will become a tradition of shaving goodies for him.

When it all came down to it he got a good sized haul I scrounged up. He ended up with - 4/8 Robesons ShurEdge straight razor, mug with matching after shave, hanging strop, badger hair brush, puck of Williams shave soap, a few different soap samples, shaving oil sample, a stick of Arko's, the other stick of soap you sent me Castle33 - it was foil wrapped and I'm thinking Italian for some reason? Sorry it's 2:30am. LOL I hoarded all the almond-ee soaps for myself. ...then rounded everything out with a styptic pencil, some Gillette aftershave gel, and my grandma had to be a smart-bum and added a box of mini band-aids she wrapped in ribbon. lol And of course fathers day cards...

All in all not too bad! I might have forgotten a couple things... I feel like I am... but like I said before it's 2:30am. I'm entitled. Let me know what you think!
