Oh, we try... Just spreading the love of wet shaving. This is the best and most active forum I know, and the people here have helped me a lot when I have gotten stuck on something. There is also a great place called Queen Charlotte Soaps, made right here in Charlotte of all natural ingredients.

If you are looking to forsake cartridges ASAP, you might want to look into a double edge safety razor to start on. I bought my SWMBO a Gillette blue lady...but I think she is just going to stop there...she's scared of straights

Not going to lie, I think the mama bear seasonal soaps have really caught my eye. Woodsy, amber, fire, dirt, and pine smells. Heaven.

@nycexit2 Hehe I can definitely see why someone wouldn't buy them too often, they definitely get spendy. I got his for a pretty good deal I think... it's even shave ready and included a hanging strop, vintage Avon mug, matching aftershave and a little badge hair brush.
If you guys learn to like your 4/8 - the one nice thing about that size is, they are less sought after and hence, cheaper lol! It's a nice bi-product lol!

    All the best of luck!!

Why are 4/8's not as sought after? I don't mind either way, even if it isn't always his go-to I know he'll love it since it was his first. Especially since it's his first father's day since our son has been born.
