    One day I hope to learn how to re-scale and re-pin razors because some of mine need it, but I doubt I'll need an anvil to do this. I'll probably need something for this purpose.

    But to get back on, would anyone care to post pics of their anvils?
    i've been looking on the bay and found a range of designs, some iron some brass, some new some old...
    I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

    Go to a Michael's craft store, they have them there in the jewelry making section.

    I got my little black one at Tandy Leather.20 bucks or so.
    Here is a site called Micro mark that has them and a lot of other cool stuff. Anvils
    Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

    Check Hobby lobby or other places that have the art and craft stuff. I got mine for 9 bucks with a coupon the wife had. Also got two 36 inch 1/16 German silver rods for pins. She got those for 7 or 8 dollars w coupon. They also had fancy washers in the jewelery dept.

    I just polished up my hammer and I do all my pinning on that.. I guess if ur gonna b using it for a variety of things probably something good to have around..
