    Default Shaving Scuttle Design

    Hey Fellas
Here is my wife's first shaving scuttle design
It is 2pc but the next will be molded together as 1pc
She had some issue with the glaze colour but you get the idea.
    All comment welcomed.

    Thanks! Mike

    Wow - very nice!

Since I've been bowl lathering lately and using my scuttle, the enjoyment of the warm lather for the second and third pass is fantastic - looks good!

edited to add: are there some ridges / rings on the inside of the scuttle to whip that lather up nicely?

Very nice, must be nice to have an artist in the family to craft your skuttles. I had the same question as Phrank's edit about the ridges.

We were just discussing an up spiral design
    What about handles?
Who likes them and who, like me, thinks they are unecessary?

Handle or handles definitely, if you're using boiling water in the scuttle you need something to hold onto.

Spiral design or something that offers some resistance for the brush to "whip" the lather up...great looking piece though..if you're wife made you that, you owe her two foot rubs...and of course you'll need either a new razor or brush to properly test the new scuttle design...makes sense to me

A thought... make the inner bowl thinner to transmit heat to the lather and the outer a lot thicker to hold heat in the water.

    Nice work Mrs Mcbladescar.
I dig the two piece bowl actually. I have a molded one piece from ClassicEdge but would like a two piece. Handle not required on mine. And scallops, or little base divots to stir up the lather would be nice.

Do you and your wife work on the pottery wheel together Mike?

Very nice work though in all seriousness..
    Cheers.

Urm . . . YEAH. Put me down for one molded one-piece scuttle, colour to be determined later, handle please. Colour is not overly important, but I prefer Earth tones.

Not that I am trying to jump the queue, simply reserving my place in iine.
