Thanked: 16Am I the only person out here who lathers in his palm? It seems to me to be a pretty good technique.

Thanked: 1371I usually make lather in a scuttle. This morning I used some Williams and face lathered with it.

Thanked: 530Depends on my mood, medium, brush and lather..
If I'm using a Boar, I generally use soap and facelather, sometimes dipping for cream
If I'm using one of my short handled badgers I'll usually face lather (I have the SRD lathering bowl, and it's fairly deep, so my short handles get my knuckles soapy)
For the long-handled badgers, I hit the bowl, cream or soap, unless I feel like going to my face (there's the mood portion)
Uberlather is always in the bowl.
