Out with the old and in with the new...
The Manly Can has become the My Shave Den over the summer much to the wife's delight. Heh he he!!!
The tools...
The workbench...
Razors are held with 1/4" x 1" magnets. Put a dab of polyurethane on ends to protect razors.
My hat is off to who ever came up with rotations.

Drum roll, please!
I can finally present the end-product of my wife's creativity (& pity on me), and my handyman skills of hanging things on the wall where she approves. As mentioned in my post on page 31 http://straightrazorpalace.com/misce...ml#post1482196.
General overview.
Starting on the left...
Right hand corner...
An appropriate shower curtain (that didn't break the bank)...
Some detail shots.
The wife is good with details...
My workspace:
Thanks for being patient while life got in the way of this project for me. Let me know if y'all want some better/closer pics of anything... or if ya have any questions !Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.

The only thing left to do is attach some sort of ledge/holder to the "incident" board that will hold both the chalk & styptic pencil. Should be an easy mod.

Thanked: 3Hi everyone, this is my shave den. I made this open shelve out of a walnut branch that fell in my father's property. I tried to emulate a design of the great carpenter George Nakashima. I bought some woodworking tools and am starting into the hobby.
Cheers,
Santiago
