I might be concerned that with a knock you could turn a shaving brush into a toilet brush....

That would be one way to rinse a brush.

OTOH, those are nice looking brushes and would be a shame to damage them. I think a sterilization would be needed.

I wish I had room in our bath for a cabinet to display all the shaving stuff EXCEPT for the razors. If this room has a shower I would move them to another room. JMO

That's probably a good point especially as the razors are stored in a container that could pool water.

I appreciate your concerns gentlemen. I haven't had a problem with my brushes taking a swim, thank goodness, and as for my razors, my bathroom is small and has a good exhaust fan. I've never had a problem with them rusting, just a few water spots from not wiping them off good enough. I don't even oil them

I have big things on the way, related to this thread. Not quite done yet, but give it a week or three. Now, as to why...

As I started gearing up for the journey into wet shaving, and started stashing things under the sink of the bathroom that isn't used, I suggested to SWMBO that I could give that unused room a purpose. Turn it into my shave den! She said no! Reason: it is the guest bathroom. Yeah. You all know the joy of "guest towels": this is a guest bathroom! I'm not allowed to muck it up with my shaving.

She decided it was finally time to have pity on me & give me some sort of "man cave" type area. Well, it's about 80-90% complete and coming along nicely! Being massively crafty, she has been the designer, and I'm the "hang that on this spot of the wall" guy .

Pics will happen once it is finished. Maybe LadyRyeBread will post them herself.
