Well the mirror and strop hook are new, the sink I made last year.
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Nothing quite like a shave in the outdoors Ed. I do it regularly myself.

    Default Old Fashioned Razor Storage

I just wanted to share the end results of the latest project I have been working on. To give you some background, I have been looking for a way to store my recent addictions other than on displaying them on top of my furniture. I noticed several types of razor stands and what-not for sale. And then it dawned on me, why not look for one of those old cabinets that I have seen in barber shops? So I found me an old, beat up sterilizer cabinet on the Bay for $25.00. It came pretty badly water damaged and had some paint on it. So over the course of a few months I sanded, stained, and refinished it. Low and behold, my idea turned out quite nicely and I am very pleased .

I have my gggrandfathers, who was a barber. I wont refinish it though, and it is pretty rough. Nice job on yours.

Wow! what a neat idea. I had no idea there was even such a thing. I'd better get one before everybody else gets the idea and the price goes up

Very neat!. Like the hinges. What are storing the razors in?

Very nice. Would be cool hanging in the shave den.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
