I use a mug. It's attached to the front of my head. I'm very fond of it, I've had it since I was born.

Gives new meaning to the term "shaving mug".

Same bowl I use. I think I paid $4 for mine. Found a stainless to nest inside of it to make the "skinflint scuttle." It's a good size, good grip, and it looks good on the the countertop in the shave den.

I have to say that the saving money on shaving thing was just to get my wife to buy in. I love to use my Dirty Bird scuttle and bowl. Julie does great work.

Default My Granddad's shaving mug from about 1910

I use it every morning, except when I'm traveling.

My Granddad got the shaving mug for his confirmation about 1910 or so. He used it for shaving all his life. I still remember him using it when I was a young boy. When he died in the 1970ies, I inherited it from him. It is made in Norway by Porsgrund porselen.
