    Default Chocolate

I don't remember if we've talked about this, but didn't see a recent thread so I figured I'll just do like everybody else and start one

Being a 16 year old girl (or not) I like chocolate. Just not the hershey's stuff and the like.

I am not a choco-elitist, if such thing exists, but over the last half decade or so here in US seems to be an explosion mass-produced high quality chocolate. So that's what I tend to get to munch on.

Right now I'm munching on a bar of chocolove 70% (the paper says made in boulder co with belgian chocolate)

last night was a bar of dagoba with lavender bits

    Yes.
Green & Black is the best store bought I have tried. A friend brought me some assorted chocolates from Kakawa in Santa Fe. They add a little chile powder to their products. It's pretty darn good.

I was pleasantly surprised recently with a bar that had Tellicherry black pepper added. I can't remember the brand at the moment but would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I have tried the Chili pepper ones but although they are "good" the black pepper one was great!

I don't think I've seen the black pepper bar. I'll have to look for it next time I go to the market.

Yeah, I like chocolate with peppers. The first time I tried it was over decade ago at that little shop in the Rockefeller Center - Teuscher.

I don't think I've seen the black pepper one around here, but I've definitely had chocolate with black pepper and it's good

Vosges makes few kinds with chilly peppers in it, they're good but I prefer few of their other kinds.

I've got a bar of Divine 70% dark chocolate on the go at the moment. Best chocolate I've found to go with dark roast coffee. My sister once gave me a bar of dark chocolate with lime and black pepper. That was spectacular.
