Just remembered we had something as a kid. Bread, fried egg, bacon and/or ham, cheese! clamp it and trim the crust off.
Turn it on the stove burner. Sealed sammy!
    Good for hot PBJ too!

Lessee. Like this only cheap tin and wire. Wooden handles!

Never! I really like the texture combo of soggy/crunchy with a hefty layer of butter on there. However, i only do that with omelettes and scrambled eggs. Over easy has none and in the hole is just butter from the pan.

I'm kind of a big fan of eggs if you couldn't tell!

I like to do my pancakes in bacon grease, soaks it all up!

I made similar toast and egg, our kids love these. When they request more than one egg, I use Texas toast, and before serving I add little cheese.

I have probably a half dozen of these floating around my garage. Cast iron with wire handles.

The more I think of it "maybe" one time we used them on the kitchen stove with the kids...

BUT! that is sacrilege. They are made to use on a campfire!

When I went to put my boots on my wife asked where I was going......

When I mentioned the pie cookers she said they were in the camper in the box just inside the door.

    This is a square one.
