Just had a couple of eggs easy over on top of a couple of Cavendish Farms brand hash brown patties for lunch. Hash browns came out nicely in the air fryer and I used a pepper grinder to pepper the eggs before turning them over. No bacon strips as we were out of them. All the same, was a tasty lunch.

    I get 2 or 3 vacuum packages (4 pack)
    when we're there.

That and some leftover noodles. I love leftovers.

I generally don't eat a lunch but a late brunch.

That is generally left overs from the day before.

Today was supposed to be grilled cheese but out of butter. I knew my wife asked me to bring home something.

That's alright. So it will be an Italian grilled cheese: that means mozzarella and parmesan instead of American or cheddar and olive oil instead of butter and of course, what else? That's right, garlic!

I see what Paul calls a grilled cheese we call a toasted sandwich.

I had a variation on the toasted for lunch today in the form of a Reuben - I won't get into the ingredients as it could start up another Canuck & Yankee dispute over the nature of that particular delicacy

Had another variation of eggs on hash brown patties for lunch the other day. I put a slice of thin cut smoked Provolone cheese on the hash browns layered some shaved Tuscan ham on top, followed by some thin cut mild Genoa salami, then an egg over topped with another thin sliced smoked Provolone cheese. Two of those made a very tasty and filling lunch.

I love toasted sanwiches or toasties and had a sandwich machine to make them but, my Canadian wife butters the outside of the bread adds her filling then puts the whole thing in a frying pan. She calles that grilled cheese, it tastes good but I don't get the grilled cheese, more like fried sandwich I reckon, nice though.
