Thread: Here comes the lunch wagon

Grilled cheese is normally meatless. It is an American or perhaps North American diner classic. I think I remember reading that it originated in the great depression when meat was expensive and scarce.

That's alright. So it will be an Italian grilled cheese: that means mozzarella and parmesan instead of American or cheddar and olive oil instead of butter and of course, what else? That's right, garlic!
