Just got done talking to Bill Jack from Le Tuft, about some hand tied Badger. Things went well so I decided to crack a favorite of mine. Flying monkeys Hoptical Illusion.

I have had the Optical Illusion though not the Flying Monkeys brand. Blue Point Brewery makes a very potent IPA that will make you see Monkeys Flying out of your A@#$. HOG

Cool Thirsty Monday - The Boot

Well, after a hard day at work; I got home and got the boot, no not that boot; the one liter glass boot picture below. I filled it with a delicious wheat beer, very refreshing and ideal for Florida weather. Boy, I love beer! HOG

Yeap, I looked this one up and it sure is a strong one packing a whopping 9.5 ABV. Boy! I'd like to get my hands on one of those.

This brewery is 10 min from my front door. It is a brewery, pub, restaurant, bakery and antique market. The entire property is modeled after a German village.

I'm not drinking it today, but I'm looking forward to trying this. It was an impulse buy and could be considered reckless at 288 norwegian kroners. I think that's nearly $50! Dark Island has been a favourite since I first tasted it a couple of years ago and pretty much everything from the Orkney brewery is awesome, so special Dark Island was too good an opportunity to miss. Plus it was payday and I was feeling rich.
