That's very cool. See it's the same as shaving, it's a universal glue, but at the same time it's not universal; not everyone likes to talk about shaving and tea. So in a way it's very universal but also quite selective It embraces all cultures, and all types and such yet, again, not all are called. Somewhat of a niche. Yet applicable to all people, ages and places.

Have you read 'Youth' by Joseph Conrad? You'd like it.
    MickR and Mcduck like this.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

A wonderful book I read/have called City of thieves by David Benioff has a part in it where the russian commander offers black tea and toast and maybe some fish soup to the antagonists of the story. I always want black tea and toast when I think of that and then I picture myself as the army clerk who fetches it wearin my smart little russian uniform with my finely kept moustache and boots. Wierd......

Tea is just tea, Kiwis rib Aussies every chance we get, but Aussies ribbin Aussies is a special moment. And i will promote that moment as best i can.We have soldiers arriving daily for the final conquest and they don't even realize. (don't say a word, shhhh.) Look back to the great Tasman sheep wars of 1610 and you will know what i mean (not alot of people know about that) by the way, we won. The only advice i can give is, if it doesn't have tea leaves in it, it's not tea. I will post some photos of some teapots to calm the situation.

How did the sheep fare in the sheep war? Did they have a say in things or, did they just think it was, Baaaaaaad?

And gum boots are sold in all adult shops too, but those are just cultural nuances hey mate!

Don't worry Steph, this is what we refer to as "Taking the p!$$ out of each other". It prevents that horrible affliction known as "Tall poppy syndrome". It's all very healthy. Now, which one of you Bast...Blokes wants another cuppa?!

Oh yes, P.S I always drink out of a tin pannikan. It seems to have formed into a habit from about when I was five or six. The exception is when I'm out and about. I take what it comes in then.

As i have mentioned before, do not involve my girlfriend Baaaaaaarbra in this conversation. To me she is baaaaaaaeutiful. And when i get sick of her i have 40 million more to pick from.Plenty more fish in the sea, or sheep in the paddock as we like to call it.
