They already are, My BP was ridiculous and gained me a few stays at the hospital this past year.

Tea and decaffinated coffee are my main drinks.I have to admit to more decaf than tea, but I have a larger variety of tea in the pantry than I do any form of coffee. I have several Chai's, a selection of black teas and green teas on hand...No damn tea pot though. I really want a decent teapot...Don't get me wrong, the Billy is a grreat substitute, but it should be left in the camping gear pile, especially when guests arrive .

I keep a selection of coffee on hand too but only three different styles, decaf and caffenated instant and a decaf ground coffee.

Oh yes, I don't put sweeteners in either tea or coffee, but do sometimes add a little honey to Chai.

MMMmmm Diabetes in a can....goood times!! If there ever was a conspiracy theory it would have to be the invention of the Energy drink and all it's cohorts like malt liquor and energy drink products etc. .... What's worse is the ****tails they make in the Bars nowadays using energy drinks. Not good cricket a'tall eh !?

So I guess you could say I use a billy of sorts Mick.I found a cheap stainless kettle/pot at a Vietnamese Grocery store.It doesn't boil too well,but I found it makes a great indestructable bachelor teapot and it keeps good n toasty for a long time even without the cozy.It accomodates an infuser basket if wanted for loose tea and the handle is hinged and tilts over for easy filling. I think it cost me like 5-6 bucks and I've had it for about six years now n works like a champ. But a nice Brown Betty pot is good too my friend......Get yer buns on the Christmas wish thread as I wished ya a Merry Xmas there,... Pagan or not ha ha !!

That's not a billy Steph! My billy is a large tin (can) with the top removed a couple of holes poked on opposite sides and a bit of fencing wire threaded in and bent up to act as a handle. (Longer handles are better when used in conjuction with open fire. They stay further away from the heat if you don't let them hang in the fire itself.) Costs about .99 cents and you get to eat the contents of the can first.
You get the water into a rolling boil, chuck in your tea, let in boil about 30 seconds more and take it off the heat. Swing the billy around in a couple of arm length circles (sky to ground, and watch out for the overhead lights if yer inside when you do it) to settle the leaves, and your ready to pour.

Well I just whipped up a "short" cup of this this morning... Iraqi style tea...

I'm down to about the last pound of sugar that I "smuggled" from the Middle East three years ago...

I drink a lot of Japanese tea. My favorite and most used one would be Kokeicha followed by Sancha and Bancha. I don't use any sweeteners so I can capture the full taste and character. The other kind of tea I adore is Earl Grey with a hint of milk. I can't drink any tea in the morning. It makes me nauseous. Partly because I don't really eat first thing in the morning.

I enjoy Dragon Phoenix Pearl Jasmine hot tea in winter, and iced tea in summer. As well as Keurig dispensed Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Tea in the morning.

i drink almost anything - white tea, green tea, black teak, pu-ehr, i just pick whatever i feel like at the moment. i'm not partial to flavored stuff though with the exception of jasmine pearls and earl gray. although i got some lavender sencha that is quite decent.
i had some yunnan earlier, and i'm probably going to make me kikucha right about now.

I was drinking a fair bit of Taiwanese oolong but now I'm getting into Fujian oolongs.

Any excuse to buy more yixing teapots.
