Default Would this be good for the great outdoors maybe ??

HMMMM....I may give this a try in the near future. I am curious now. If for nothing else as to say I have at least tried it. Bela..curious...when you drank this did seem to provide an energy boost like when you eat something in the morning ? Seems like this would be something good for out on the trail when you really need those calories .

As hot as its been around here, I'vebeen drinking nothing but iced tea. Sometimes with lemon, sometimes with peach syrup, but mostly with good old cane sugar.

Peach leaf syrup(use any other berry or fruit for same basic method 1-2 cups worth) Take washed and dried peach leaves(about 25 or so) and steep in 2 cups boiling water over night. Next day strain liquid into a pan add 2 cups sugar and juice of one lemon and simmer till syrupy.Let cool and pour into glass jar.Keeps in the fridge indefinitely. Mmmmmmmmmmm

I'm lazy. I just use the leftover syrup from a can of peaches.
