Well yesterday and today Tea (and coffee) had to take a back seat to Beer. I only wish that I could have had that sendentary time that Steph finds so acceptable (as do I). Unfortunately I've been swinging a sledge hammer all day yesterday, and cleaning up (Read shoveling and lifting) the 700kgs of destruction today. It bloody well hurts to sit still. Beer is my new friend for the moment. If I was in the US it would be a MGD in my hand. Here it's a XXXX (four ex).

Default Instant Tibetan Original Flavour Yak Butter Tea

Butter tea, also known as po cha, Tibetan tea, su you cha, is a drink of the Tibetans and Chinese minorities in southwestern China. It is also consumed in Bhutan. It is made from tea leaves, yak butter, and salt.
I had an 3in1 Instant Tibetan Original Flavour Yak Butter Tea - tasting. Maybe it as like the original. Maybe not, I never will know.

But was it good is the question ? I wonder if I'll ever see yak butter tea on the shelf of my local grocery store ? I have heard of this stuff.

It would be one of those "you'd be lucky to find anything like that beside the Vegemite in Australia" type products. Meaning never in a million years. I like trying new things myself, but that opportunity is very limited in this country.

Steph, I bought it from China, not in the small shop on the corner. Anyone can do it now. This tea is very delicate, slightly salty taste, like the fried soup. One can try.

    Cheers,
    Béla
