Looking forward to your matcha pics!
That's about the size I'd expect for a pot like that - perfect for when you're only making for yourself!

I'm away over the weekend, so unless I take them tomorrow, I might not post the pics until Tuesday or so.

After a couple less than thrilling small tuos (too young, but I still wanted to sample them so I can monitor the development) I decided I needed a treat, so today I opened a CNNP 2003 cake.

Front label. There was nothing on the back.

Inner label. Quite possibly the worst company name ever?

Cake label, it was actually not imbedded.

    Tea cake:
The cake is glossy looking, with a clean fresh smell. The tea cake seems homogenous, with fairly similar material throughout the cake. The aroma is a fresh forest, hay-like, very pleasing.

    Aroma: Earthy, mossy, yet fresh.
    Color: Reddish tint
Taste: Fresh, smooth and earthy, good mouthfeel, mouth-watering. No bitterness at all. Very pleasant.
Aftertaste: Lastinging aftertaste, with good sweetness.

I'm glad I chose this cake today, it was very pleasing. Having my second pot as I write this, it is thoroughly enjoyable.

Love those cakes of Tea. They look like they could just be eaten instead of broken up and thrown in hot water .
