Today's tea was a Xiaguan Bao Yan, the raw puerh I posted about a couple weeks ago. This tea has quickly become a favorite, never bitter, I enjoy it every day.

Ya know, I hadn't thought of that. Next time I make homemade jerky, instead of buying liquid smoke, ill just make a concentrate of lapsang, and use it to give the meat a smoky flavor

You know the expression about a time and place???
That is how I feel about Lapsang Suchong. I love it in mid-winter when camping, or dreaming about camping, but don't really care for it any other time.
