Size: 30.8 KBYesterday MisterMoo gifted me with a generous amount of Adagio: Golden Monkey. It's been a long time since I've used loose tea. Dug out a favorite old teapot that I bought in 1957 on an amusement pier in Los Angeles. Instinct drove me to the local Goodwill and I immediately marched up to the lidded tea mug you see here (I always trust my instinct). Brewed a full pot that I am enjoying with dinner and the rest of the evening. One of the few teas that I've tasted that to sweeten it would ruin it's quiet, satisfying flavor. Thoroughly enjoyable, thank you MisterMoo!

11:00pm, I'm finishing my day's work with a cup of cherry flavored Sencha with rose petals. It is from T'Infusion, they opened near where I live and they have some nice teas.

I do believe that you should enjoy whatever tea you like however you like it because it's all about enjoyment. Nevertheless, cherry flavoured sencha with rose petals...I think a little bit of me dies for each leaf adulterated so.

EDIT: At least it's a step it the right direction!

In other news, I'm ready to open my first ever packet of gyokuro (probably tomorrow), as weird as it might sound, I'm actually really looking forward to it! xD

Sipping on a pannikin of rooibos at the moment. I'll switch over to a Dilmah black on the next cup later. Been a bit under the weather of late and subsisted on tea, a bit of bread and a bit of fruit to eat yesterday.

Temple of Heaven Gunpowder by Golden Moon Tea. This is a green tea with some smokiness to it and stronger than my regular green teas. The tin was a gift and this is the first time, I think, I have tried it. Verdict is still out.

Lately I have been cutting back on the coffee and drinking more tea. This evening I had a brief panic when I realizesd my two go-to tea tins were empty. Glad I found this gunpowder.
