    That's just how everyone does it here. I could drink ten cups in a day no bother, so I suppose if I was using a pot properly I'd never get anything else done.
    Strange thing is that I never saw a teabag until I was about 10, it was always loose leaf tea. And we'd put a wee strainer over the cup when pouring.
    I hope you had the pot suitable warmed before you poured in the hot water

    Default Tea anyone ??!!

    Had to Google what that Samovar was. Never seen one before. Of course have tea urns but the are much more industrial looking. There's always a 10 gallon one appears at a wake house, god knows where it comes from

    Both Slavic and Persian cultures use Samovars, they're good for all day drinking or large groups. fairly expensive, beautiful to look at.
