I haven't taken photos yet because I'm too lazy, but the gyokuro I bought is amazing! I'll try and get some pics and post them soon, along with a more detailed explanation...

The reason I prefer Chinese tea making like the one shown above is that there is very little ritual.
Every step she does is important for the quality of the final served cup.
The opposite is found in the Japanese tea making ceremonies. Most part is ritual and very little is tea.
I certainly prefer the Chinese way.
