You say you're running low, where do you normally buy from?

There aren't really any EU-based sellers, not that I know of or would recommend anyway. If you want Japanese tea, you need to be buying it from Japan. Just find a balance of buying enough that you feel makes the extra bit of postage costs worthwhile.

Never bought from Thes Du Japon but I hear they're good sellers. The rest I use at least semi-regularly.
Thanks, I will definitely check these out. The one Japanese site I had looked at (forget which) was charging like 2,500 or 3,500 JPY for shipping--quite expensive. I'm usually based in China, and buy either from growers there or wholesalers, and am in Japan fairly regularly so I usually pick up my Japanese teas in country. Just didn't plan properly for how long I was going to be out of Asia this time (brought way too much black tea, not enough green).
Also, I found one UK based shop called "Imperial Teas"--anyone ever buy from them?

Had a cup of this last night. "Master Lins Gold Medal Tong Tian Xiang"

Bought if from a specialist tea shop in central London . Its like £30 for a few cups.

Its a black tea but extremely fruity I didn't know whether I should drink it or just keep sniffing it.. Really nice stuff but to expensive. I think there was only a few kilos harvested.

I've seen that site before. I've never bought anything from them. If you're used to 'fresh' Japanese tea, buying from a western vendor that stock it as a small part of their selection will only disappoint you.

All of the Japanese/Japan-based vendors above have very good quality teas, if not better that what you'll find in a Japanese supermarket. I think the postage is worth it.

I rescued this set from a nearby charity shop. I managed to decipher two of the symbols... "In the palm". So, er... about the rest of the text (chapter?)...

I'm drinking some Puerh tea this afternoon. It smells a little like a fish aquarium...must be healthy stuff.

I never cared for the stuff for the very reason you describe.....to me it tasted like an aquarium.

My wife and I drink a lot of tea, usually in the evenings. But recently I've given up coffee because it was causing my to get serious gut rot. Now in the mornings I've been drinking a lot of straight up green tea, and Oolong. I also really enjoy on the weekends, a tea called Dragon Pearls which is a hand rolled Jasmin tea.

Tonight I'm drinking an herbal tea before bed called Bravissimo, which consists of Licorice root, Chamomile, Orange peel, Rosehips, Peppermint, and Goji berries.
This one I find to be very relaxing and helps with soar throats.

Oh. I might add that she's been pushing me to drink Matcha these days. I hate the taste of the regular, but she bought a Peach flavoured on, and I don't mind it.
