Tonight I'm drinking an herbal tea before bed called Bravissimo, which consists of Licorice root, Chamomile, Orange peel, Rosehips, Peppermint, and Goji berries.
This one I find to be very relaxing and helps with soar throats.

Oh. I might add that she's been pushing me to drink Matcha these days. I hate the taste of the regular, but she bought a Peach flavoured on, and I don't mind it.
Stick with the Oolongs and they will treat you very well. I am a huge fan of them myself. Try Republic of Teas Milk Oolong...a very nice Pinapple cream like flavor to it. Oolongs are very very good teas to drink for a myriad of reasons. Get well soon !

As I get older I find myself hunkering down with regular and particular things and it seems I am really gravitating more to the Chinese teas and more importantly Oolong teas. Most times I don't have to add any kind of sweetening to them as they are wonderful on their own and if I do add anything be it sugar or honey, it's the smallest amount as to just wake up the flavor. I started my tea journey drinking Brit style with cream and sugar and sometimes I still enjoy a Brit style tea but also as I get older those things cream and sugar are becoming not so nice to my health so Oolong and Chinese tea becomes a nice friend with minimal dressing.

I'm drinking a blend called Churchill which tastes like Earl Grey with some Lapsang Suchong added to it.

    Default Best Tea Ever (probably)

For the last few years I have been partial to the finest teas .

The one sits at the top.

Knotted Tea from the East India Company.
Each stem is hand knotted and the smell is that of chocolate and grass .

It is grown in Sri Lanka . They have the cleanest water, hence the finest teas. It is also crazy expensive so I only drink it once or twice a fortnight .
I'm drinking a glass full now as I type,, Ahh the cooler it gets the more tasty it becomes

Hey fellas.....nice to see all the wonderful teas on here lately. Oolongs and knotted teas....excellent. @ Harrywally, try that milk Oolong without any sweetener first.I think you will be very pleased with it. I start off with a 3 minute steep for the first time and then 4 min for the second. 5 of course for a third but I've never gotten to a third steeping . Milk Oolong is my favorite followed by Iron Goddess of Mercy. Those are not ROT brands by the way but types of Ooling you can find at other tea purveyors as well. The Milk Oolong is a Taiwan favorite apparently. Cheers you guys !

Well, I find it difficult to describe flavor. I would say that I find the Royal Thai Oolong tea smooth, fruity (dry peach taste for sure) and a bit sweety.
I totally agree with you, oolongs do not need sweeteners at all.
