We've been drinking this every now and then. Not actually tea but herbal drink made of Verbena. In Finnish we call it as 'iron herb'.
Easy to plant on our own garden. However this one is from Morocco and sold in various ethnic stores in the city.

Very healthy it is. Mild taste with tones of mint and citrus.

Nice tea pot "T" . I tried growing some lemon Verbena last year at work but it didn't go too well. I have a brown thumb.

O-cha's yutaka midori shincha is apparently the best they've sold in 16 years - grab some while you can, if you were considering shincha this year!

Shincha, is that another word for Sencha or a different tea altogether?

Shincha (新茶) is tea from the first harvest of the year. Generally applies to sencha, and that's what most people would assume, as other tea is usually aged anyway. Other 'shincha' products can be found - I've seen shincha matcha around and even tried a couple once but it's not really 'supposed' to be like that...

    Default Tea anyone ??!!

I think you're a big genmaicha drinker but it's always good to grab something different for a change, right?!
A little more expensive though; I think the yutaka midori is JPY2,500.
If it's as good as they said, I thought I ought to try it...!

I drink a lot of genmaicha, yes. I like sencha too. But sencha and gyokura are much more expensive. So for an everyday tea, I drink the genmaicha or hojicha. Japanese teas don't steep out as much as Chinese either. So to drink the same amount, you have to use a lot more tea.
