This morning started with 2 cups of Twinings Earl Grey loose leaf steeped in a tea ball. One of my all time favorites.

Ah, Twinings Earl Grey.. I grew up drinking that stuff. The thing that impresses me the most is how they managed to make a tea that satisfies, day in and day out. I never tire of that stuff. Was the only tea I drank, for many many years. These days I have mostly been drinking chinese and japanese teas, and I love them - but I'll buy me a tin of Twinings Earl Grey today.

This morning I'm having High Mountain green tea. I'll probably have a black tea w/honey this afternoon.

I meant to post this yesterday but got too busy to do it. This is Den's Genmaicha. It's a really nice one...based on the few that I've tried. It's much more elegant than the Ippodo version I tried. And the added matcha really gives the green tea flavor a kick.

I've just received hibiki-an's premium matcha and karigane houjicha. Will post when I open them.

I've also just picked up a box of matchairi genmaicha teabags from the Japan Centre, for at work.

I was out to lunch recently and saw this on the shelf and had to buy some. I drank this nearly everyday for 14 months. Per the box its a flowery broken orange pekoe.
