Here is mine. Not much skill or shavings needed. Basically a stick!

To keep it on thread not good for stirring Matcha tea!

Just received my order from Den's tea - two Senchas and two Genmaichas. I haven't made any of them yet as I've been working out ratios with PigHog. I've sampled one of the Genmaichas already so I know what I'm in for with that one. The other three will be a surprise.

Still waiting on my teas from China. I'm looking forward to them simply for the variety. I've had a lot of green tea as of late and would welcome the change. They should be here any day now though. I miss my black tea.

Wow. I'm stocked up. My teas from China suddenly arrived. Now I'm stocked with a lot of tea. Time to start drinking.

And that's what I did this morning. This is the Zhu Rong Yunnan Black. This is wonderful tea, truly delicious. Its mellow, no astringency at all. The flavor has the chocolately flavor that these black teas from Verdant always have. But its also showing a lot of whole grain type flavor and a hint of sweet pastry. Outstanding.
