    Tea is all I drink.
I get my teas from Upton and more and more favor Darjeeling.
Earl Grey is always on hand mainly for my wife.
    ..
Definitely not a tea snob. I brew A 1/2 gallon at a time and drink it for two or three days. I do not use sugar or milk.

    I’m always a snob. I can’t help it. It’s too much fun.

A very nice black today. Full of happy sweet potato flavor.

What is that tea? It looks like a golden Yunnan.

That’s what it is. They brand it as Golden Fleece. But it’s a black Yunnan. I’ve been buying it for years. It’s a favorite of mine.

Ah yes Wang Yanxin farm I assume. What seller do you buy from? I know Verdant sells that but I have never bought from them.

Edit: I like that Yunnan Da Bai varietal but it seems a shame that so much is used for white tea. I don't dislike white tea it just seems like unreached potential. I just keep thinking how it would taste if they fermented it.

    You’d be right again.

I had a dream last night that I woke up and went to make tea. I was really craving it but I got there and there was no tea in the cupboard!

Did I say dream? I meant nightmare.

This was a new one for me. Dragonwell is normally a green tea. This one was left to oxidize into a black. Good, but doesn’t knock my socks off. I like a black that has a real smack of chocolate. This was has a diluted cocoa flavor. It’ll go. But I won’t re order this one. Name: IMG_2255.jpg
