I'm familiar with the BBQ Guru. The difference is I believe yours is on/off. Mine is proportional. It is variable speed.

I love my Big Green Egg as much as I love my str8 razors. The best pizzas in town, are made at my house in the BGE. The best ribs..., at my house. Hot 600* for pizza, 195* for ribs, what's not to love.
I would love a temperature controller like the ones above. Where can I get one? Double O
I have really started to like using Sweat Baby Ray's, it has a tangy kick to it instead of the more traditional smokey taste. What are your favorites?
I use Sweet Baby Ray's more than anything. Love it!!
I have also really enjoyed Maul's from St. Louis. Another really nice sauce!!
I will have to give Maul's a try! Thanks for the recommendation!
Finally!
Thanks to a friend here on the forums, I have found a distributor for the Nordic countries.
So, today I ordered myself a Large Big Green Egg.
I simply cannot wait for that thing to arrive:)
I'm re-igniting this thread with tonights man meal!! The wife left to go to hot yoga and I had to fend for myself. Good thing I keep some man meals on hand to cook up in times like these. tonights meal consists of a dinosaur sized smoked turkey leg I threw on the Weber Genisis for 20 and 20. I'm also trying a new beer tonight, Miami Weiss brewed by the Great Lakes brewery in Toronto. I'll review this beer in the beer of the day thread some other day for those interested.
As I'm typing this I can't stop eating this leg. Sooooo good!!!!!!
