Master of Malt has some good tasting notes of their own and User reviews. I like starting there to get ideas going. I've made a lot of good choices for myself from MoM. BevMo and Total Wine have Ok reviews too. This stuff can get $pendy, clue$ help a lot.

September is my b-day month and I like to splurge this one month. Just about tapped out a nikka 21. I got a couple goodies in the mail I'll share later.

Japanese whiskey comes and goes here in Washington state. When stores have it get it for it goes fast.

Wine-Searcher has been a great source finding booze & wine. A lot of the time I can find stuff for way less to my door than I can get in my stores.

I paid $13.80...

So, my presents were a bottle of Suntory Toki, Four Roses Small Batch, and Great King St blended Scotch. Then the Missus surprised me with a bottle of Suntory Hibiki. Having just sampled a dram on ice, I can say this is one FABULOUS whisky, more so for a lack of age statement. Will not get into to it much now, but it is definitely next weekend's review. Pictures to follow.
