For a Scotch, the Glenrothes line seems to be on the cheaper side??? Seems our LCBO only has one style of Glenrothes at the moment anyways.

And that is what she has . . . along with the Lagavulin Distiller's Edition. Would really like to get my hands of a bottle of that Four Roses, too. The Small Batch is nice, so I can only imagine what THAT tastes like.

For those of you who like 4 Roses, don't hate us guys down here close to the bourbon trail, they give plenty of tastes at the distillery! We take the ride up thru it every spring, 2 day run hit 10 places, try some really good bourbons, plus they always have a special batch to try also. I finish my trip on the way to the house at the Jack Daniels distillery, but the ones up in Kentucky will get your head spinning! Tc

We're planning our vacation next summer to hit Bourbon country. Do you have any favorite distillery tours, TC?

I was curious and bought a 10 year old, Higlands, single malt from Trader Joe's this evening.

Leatherstockings, , I like them all, but my favorites would be Heaven Hill distillery, Elijah Craig is very good whisky, Buffalo Trace, and Woodford Reserve, but most on the trail are pretty good, or get off the trail to some of the little shops too. Don't forget Wild Turkey, they have a very old place that caters to visitors well. Have a bunch of fun, you can always get a chauffeured tour also. Tc
