While I rarely indulge in the world of 'hard stuff' I called my local (out of state) liquor store and they have FOUR Bottles (5ths)of the above mentioned Knob Creek so I'll be heading over tomorrow to pick up a bottle or so--just in case a good friend from TN should happen by.

Roy...go with the "or so."
I have a good friend that owns two large liquor stores.
He told me that in order to get any, he has to buy a full barrel.
I had to go elsewhere to find mine.

Well tomorrow I'll find out if we are talking 'Apples and Oranges'. When I called the liquor store I asked if they carried 'Knob Creek 120 proof single barrel' and she said yes. So I asked if there was more than one bottle as I couldn't get over until tomorrow and she then told me that they had 4 of them and they were 5th sized bottles.
Is This what I should be looking for? As I have said I rarely ever partake of the harder stuff. My dad's choice of poison was Seagram 7 and the man who was like a second father to me's choice was McNaughtons. When I was partaking it was usually Black Velvet. So 'IF' this is the real deal it should be quite an eye opener.

That's the stuff.
If you decide to try it, you'll be amazed at how good it tastes, and how smooth it is for 120 proof.
