For the price, this stuff is fantastic! I know the new Scotch company Compass Box is using this juice in a lot of their blends as well.

I was perusing the local shelves last night. Here's a question for my Canadian friends: What is the difference between Lot 40 and 40 Creek? The former was in the single malt price bracket which surprised me. I also saw Whistle Pig but that one was behind the counter and way out of my price range.

Forty Creek is a whiskey company out of Niagara region. They have many different types, but their standard expression is great.

Lot 40 is the name of a 100% Rye whiskey, pot distilled made by Corbet spirits which is Wiser''s. Lot 40 is considered by many to be one of the best, especially for the price, 100% Rye whiskeys.

2 very different, and separate products to answer your question.

Anyone tried this? I picked it up yesterday, wonderful stuff!! Smooth and rich flavor. Going to have to pour more tonight.
